"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen
as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving
of his house; by the which he condemned the world,
and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith"
(Hebrews 11:7).
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God" (Ephesians2:8).
We should please God by doing good works that
advance the Kingdom of God, but all of our good
works will not make us right before God. Only putting
our faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will make us
right in God's eyes.
